Optimum, a premier digital marketing company, proudly organized its fourth Online Business Analysis Event at its North York office in Toronto. The event, attended by over 40 online business owners operating in the Toronto area, aimed to empower businesses to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and boost their sales and revenue in the online space.

The event kicked off with participants introducing themselves and their businesses, followed by a discussion on the importance of self-promotion. A key question was posed for collective reflection: Why do a significant number of immigrants to Canada, particularly Persian-speaking immigrants, struggle to replicate the success they had in their home countries and fail to reach customers? The group identified several challenges, including:
Limiting themselves to the small Iranian community market
Lack of proficiency in English
Insufficient understanding of new and international market needs
Misunderstanding consumer behavior, even among Iranian Canadians
Unfamiliarity with financial and administrative systems
Lack of knowledge about legal and regulatory matters
Uncertainty around permanent residency (PR) status
Lack of confidence to enter new markets
Conflicting or inaccurate advice
High marketing and sales costs
Website Analysis and Tools
The core of the event focused on an in-depth analysis of two websites, Greenica.ca and Ezipilates.com. Participants explored customer profiling, website and social media evaluation checklists, and methodologies. Tools such as Mangools KWFinder, SimilarWeb, Google Trends, and TrendHere were introduced to analyze audience data. Based on the insights gathered, actionable recommendations were provided to enhance the websites and their social media presence. The event concluded with a Q&A session and networking opportunities.
